Do you call East Arlington your community?

Do you love the events that happen throughout the year in Capitol Square, like Feast of the East, Day of the Dead Fiesta, First Lights, Romancing the Square, and Spring in the Square?

Did you know that they all began with Feast of the East, our popular street fair, which was started 20 years ago as a community event by an East Arlington community member who was also a town selectman. . .and that all of these events are now organized by handful of enthusiastic business owners and local volunteers?

In that spirit, we are inviting community-minded residents to help plan the 20th Annual Feast of the East which is being held on June 16, 2018!!

We are looking for people who are passionate about being part of the Arlington community, have 2-3 hours of time per week available over the next two months, and may have experience in the following areas:

Organizing entertainment

Recruiting food vendors and restaurants

Fundraising

Publicity

Logistics during the festival

If interested, please reach out to us by sending us a message to Capitol Square’s Facebook page, or by stopping by Maxima, Artbeat, Derby Farm Flowers & Gardens or 13FOREST Gallery.
