Capitol Square’s Annual “Romancing the Square” Event
Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Capitol Square
Saturday, February 10, from 4 to 6pm
Capitol Square’s annual “Romancing the Square” event celebrates the spirit of Valentine’s Day with free activities on Saturday, February 10, from 4 to 6pm, throughout East Arlington’s Mass Ave. business district. Enjoy free Ghirardelli chocolates, art happenings and exhibits, sales and refreshments to help you get in the mood for romance. This event is free and open to all ages, and there will be special receptions and events just for adults.
” ‘Romancing the Square’ is a celebration of love and the arts, and gives us all an excuse to brave the weather and come out for something fun,“ says Jan Whitted, owner of Artbeat Creativity Store and Studio. “It’s a great time to engage with friends and neighbors, and meet new people. Participating businesses will continue our tradition of handing out chocolate “Capitol Squares”.
